PLAN WELL LIVE WELL

PLANNING MATTERS AT ALL LEVELS OF LIFE. MAYBE YOUR PLANNING TO BUY YOUR FIRST HOME OR RETIRE EARLY. COMMUNITIES NEED TO PLAN AS WELL. BELOW IS OUR IDEA OF HOW THAT MIGHT LOOK

Farmland Protection Know Who You Are Grow Idaho

Your Idaho Identity

Every person has a story and so does every town, city and county. What’s your home’s story? When communities come together to define what is important to them then their city and county officials can represent them better.

Stop Fragmenting Farmland_Grow Idaho Protect Farmland

Stop Fragmenting

If you decided that your agricultural economy and rural character is important to your community, then it’s time to stop fragmenting farm and ranch land. Your community can still grow, with common sense conservative planning that leaves rural economies and their culture intact.

Engage to Protect Farmland Grow Idaho

Talk to One Another

Talk to your friends. Talk to your neighbors. Talk to your local government and state representatives. Ask them what they think about protecting our agricultural economies and rural character and let them know that you think it’s important. Talk to us! We are here to help where we can.

LEARN TO ENGAGE WITH CONFIDENCE

We are working on breaking down the layers of government so that you can follow your elected officials and voice your thoughts

August 2023: We were asked how proposed legislation changing the areas of impact might affect rural areas and agricultural districts. You can see this work on our website here: https://www.growidaho.org/your-government

June 2023: We were asked to look into the Idaho State Traffic Study on Highway 55 and how 2,000 cars might affect the well-bing of the residents along this corridor. The answer might surprise you.

July 2022: We created the campaign to get the citizens of Canyon County involved in the update to their comprehensive plan and the response was amazing! Every county official (minus 1) voted for the plan. This spring (2024) we will update you on where it’s at. Here are your voices in favor of Canyon Counties Comprehensive Plan:
